Snow Days

We had two great snow days in Texas. It was not ICE days. I really didn't want to miss school b/c you always have to make them up, but these two snow days were AWESOME. We really got to play in the snow. Thursday we went to Briarhill and tried some sledding down The Hill. That was fun! We didn't have anything to sled on, but other people were there and they let us borrow their wakeboards. Courtnye didn't want to do it at first, but then you couldn't stop her. As we were driving back home, we drove around the back of Donald Elementary. The girls got out and played on the playground for a while. The snow was deep. Kaylee went down one of the slides head first b/c the snow was up to the bottom of the slide. We tried to build a snowman on Thursday, but it didn't work to well. But Friday's Aggie Snowman was awesome. The snow was perfect for packing and rolling. Most of the snow we used came from our driveway, so we didn't have to mess up the pretty grass snow. We went back to Briarhill Friday and met some friends there for sledding and snowball fights. The girls also went over to Kid's Castle to play on the playground. After all that, we came home and chilled out by the t.v.
