Changes around the Homefront (or back)

Wow! Things happened really quickly. We knew when the tiles started falling off the pool with the last cold freeze that it was time to do something. We contacted on pool company- well they had super high prices. So a friend of ours is also getting his pool redone and recommended another company. Much better prices and ALOT more product! It just happened that our friend was scheduled to have his pool plastered, but he wasn't ready, so we were lucky enough to take his spot three or four days after we picked out our tile, plaster, etc. We didn't have to wait two to three weeks! Here are some before and after pictures of the pool. What a difference!

BEFORE: DURING: AFTER: So, what do you think? Well, we didn't just stop there. We have been talking about adding a covered patio to the back as well. So we took the plunge- not in the pool, but to add the cover. Our friend did this as well. And I must say it is AMAZING! Way more than I ever expected!

And I have planted some veggies in containers...Got to keep the dogs away from them. We will see if they grow or not. There is a strawberry plant, crooked neck squash, and tomoatoes.
